It’s been about six months since I introduced our new Success Team structure and team. As a quick refresher, we have three new roles: Relationship Manager, Operations Manager, and Success Advisor. Together, these roles make up Pearl Network Contractors’ Success Team.

We supplemented our existing team by hiring exceptional individuals into these roles earlier this year. Hopefully, you’re familiar with them, as they spend their days working with you to ensure you’re getting the most out of your partnership with Pearl. But in case you aren’t, let’s provide some clarity on how your Success Team can maximize your success with Pearl Certification.

Team Roles

Let’s begin with a quick review of what each position is responsible for.

  • Relationship Manager: Responsible for working with your leadership to ensure you’re getting the most out of your partnership with Pearl. This person will also serve as your primary contact at Pearl.

  • Operations Manager: Focused on all things data! The Operations Manager will work with your operations or data team to ensure we’re certifying all the great work you’re doing, as well as generate reports on your participation in the network.

  • Success Advisor: Education is the name of their game! Your Success Advisor will work with your sales team to ensure they’re leveraging Pearl and our accompanying marketing and sales tools to close more deals.

If you’re ever in doubt about who to call with a particular question, start with your Relationship Manager. If she doesn't know the answer, she’ll know who to ask.

Getting the Most From Your Success Team

Your Success Team is your primary conduit to all things Pearl. In addition to restructuring the team and hiring six new members, we also documented our processes to ensure we are delivering a consistent experience to everyone, regardless of which team is assigned. There are five key areas on which we focus our engagement efforts: Leadership, Data & Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Pearl Products.

You’ll notice that your homeowner is at the center of the wheel. Our efforts are designed to enhance your ability to deliver value to your customer. We will focus on a different aspect of our partnership with you each quarter to help enhance your mastery of Pearl. (But if you need us in the meantime, please give us a call!)

We want to maximize the value of our partnership by building your knowledge about Pearl. You should always learn something new from each engagement. And we want to learn from you! We’re interested to learn what your plans for growth are, how you’re going to integrate new technology or industry trends into your business, and of course, how Pearl is helping you close more sales.

Contractor Engagement Primary

Getting the Most out of Pearl

Pearl Certification is not just a sales tool. We give you the ability to differentiate yourself from your competition by offering something they cannot. We like to say, “Start a conversation your competition can’t finish!” As with any tool, it only works if you use it.

The number one reason contractors succeed with Pearl is because they have integrated Pearl into all aspects of their business: sales, marketing, data/operations, etc. Contractors who do not incorporate Pearl fully into their business are just carrying the expense of a tool without the benefit. Simply saying you’re part of the network on your website isn’t enough. You need to mention it to the customer as part of your marketing and sales pitch, talk about it during the install, and remind the customer to look out for their certification in their inbox as part of your post-work follow-up. The Success Team will work with you to help you get the most out of our partnership. We’ve helped lots of contractors integrate Pearl; I’m confident we can help you too.

Contractor Resource Center

If you have a question and your Success Team isn’t immediately available, our Contractor Resource Center is! We made almost all of the resources available without logging into the site. If you want to find your co-branded marketing materials, you will need to log in with your Pearl Software account. We’re constantly adding new resources, so bookmark it and check back often. We have big plans to enhance the resource center in the next year. We’ll share updates as they become available.
