Average 4-star ratings on major social media/review sites (Google, Yelp, Angie’s List and prominent local review sites)
Better Business Bureau history with no unresolved complaints or red-flag issues
Written customer dispute resolution process
Solutions-based approach to address customer needs
Systems-based approach to trade-specific elements (e.g., ducts with equipment) as well as whole-home elements
A strategy to proactively seek customer feedback

All licenses required to practice their trade(s) in the jurisdictions where the firm conducts business
Internal processes to ensure that all work is properly permitted
Proper control of dealers/subcontractors/others who do certifiable work
Demonstrated success working with other organizations (good standing with utility programs, industry groups, etc.)

CRM (customer relationship management) software used to manage customer accounts

Commitment to support workforce through regularly scheduled sales and safety meetings
Continuous education opportunities (conferences, certificates, classes, trainings)

Ability to answer how the business betters the communities it serves
